| Description San Francisco, CA---- D-Structure. San Francisco is pleased to announce the introduction of Correct Clothing, a new line of streetwear, to their retail mix. A launch party will kick off at 8:00pm this Friday, May 2nd at D-Structure (520 Haight Street @ Fillmore) and will welcome the new label with some of the city’s best DJ’s and an accompanying art exhibit titled “Antique Roadshow (Rarity Bazaar)”.
Correct Clothing is a local brand that was launched in August of 2007 and has since met success with being retailed on the popular online shopping site, Karmaloop.com, as well as with being featured in various online and print outlets such as Elle magazine. The company was founded with the goal of creating a non-trendy and classically hip aesthetic to fill this void in an otherwise cluttered streetwear market. The results are fresh, clean, unique designs with a distinctly urban appeal. The art show that will be debuted alongside the line will feature three talented Bay Area artists: TenFold, ZenTen and Ian Hill. The “Antique Roadshow” will depict the innovative concept of a futuristic view of the past. Following the sweeping success of the last exhibition, “ICONS” by Aaron Nagel, this installation will challenge viewers’ conceptions of the past and established historical imagery by infusing these images with a futuristic perversion. Music will be provided by DJ Centipede, Citizen Ten, Bogle, and The Gaslamp Killer. Sure to be a stellar addition to D-Structure, the Correct Clothing launch party, with it’s Antique Roadshow and DJ lineup is definitely an event not to miss. The Antique Roadshow runs through the end of May. Correct Clothing will unveil their newest line and DJ Centipede, Citizen Ten and Bogle will be spinning until 1am. |
