Description
DJ Stax (aka Abicah Soul Project) grew up in Chicago during the days of the Warehouse and Muzic Box, and his deejay sets and production—like those of friends Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Paul Johnson, and Gene Hunt—are heavily influenced by the pioneering work of Frankie Knuckles and Ron Hardy. He began deejaying in 1983, when he was only 12 years old, and has been a staple in the Chi-town rave and club scene ever since.
