The Carmel Art Association and Friends of Bill Bates are pleased to announce an art auction fundraiser to help pay for Chelsea Bates’ senior year at York School in Monterey.The auction will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Beardsley Room of the Carmel Art Association. Bidding will begin at 2:00 and end at 4:00.
Chelsea is a dynamic honors student at York. In addition to having a passion for the performing arts, she also is a student leader and an avid writer. As a senior, she will be the editor of the school newspaper and president of the senior class. Chelsea plans on attending a four-year college to pursue a career as a broadcast journalist.
