| Description Golden Gate Opera presents “Breastplates to Pocketwatches!”, a magical evening of Opera and Operetta from Germany and Austria on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 8pm and Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 7:30pm. at the Marin Center Showcase Theatre, San Rafael, CA. The concert features international singers Heldentenor Roy Stevens and Soprano Annalisa Winberg performing selections from Wagner, Strauss and Beethoven operas, as well as Lehar and Strauss operettas, accompanied by noted opera pianist Hadley McCarroll. They will be joined by The Marin Symphony Youth Chorus and others, conducted by Jenny Bent in selections from Lohengrin (“Wedding March”), Marta by Flotow, Abduction from the Seraglio by Mozart and Die Fledermaus by J. Strauss. Noah Griffin is Master of Ceremonies. Ticket prices are $45 and $35 for adults, $25 for students with full time ID and for children.
