| Description 2007 Grammy nominated Latin master pianist Chuchito Valdés is recognized as a master of Cuban music. Chuchito Valdés, following in the footsteps of his famed father Chucho Valdés (Irakere) and grandfather Bebo Valdés, continues the legacy of great piano players form Cuba. His original compositions and arrangements draw on classical harmonic and structural techniques. In his performances, Chuchito's music draws on many styles including Afro-Cuban Jazz, Bebop, Danzon, Cha-Cha-Cha, Son Montuno entwined with unmistakable classical sounds. Chuchito is collaborating with various great artists these days and is involved in plenty promising projects. |
