Description
Once each year, on a Sunday in August, 175 of the most prized collector cars in the world roll onto what is often called the best finishing hole in golf — the famed eighteenth fairway at Pebble Beach. Tire meets turf and transformation occurs: the stage is set for one of the most competitive events in the automotive world. The occasion is the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

The Concours is not a contest of speed, but of excellence. Automobiles are judged for their historical accuracy, their technical merit and their style. And the best garner reward and recognition.

Thousands of enthusiasts are on hand to celebrate these cars and enjoy the company of others who share their passion.

The 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will feature Bugatti and Bentley. It will also celebrate a century of Morgan and Audi, as well as the designs of Zagato.

Being an outdoor event on the front lawns of the Lodge at Pebble Beach, this event is one of the most famous and beautiful automobile events in the world. The famed eighteenth fairway plays host to the action and guests should enjoy a beautiful day of eating, viewing and picnicing on the lawns. Dress is casual to dressy and be sure and bring a coat or sweater as our summer is foggy and sometimes brisk.
