This collection of 17 large format color photographs are from a series of portraits and landscapes created in Louisville, Kentucky over the past five years. The exhibit borrows its name from a Neil Young song recorded in Hollywood, California, in 1969. By showing her series of Louisville Portraits in a city across the continent from their origins, Sarah's work draws a connection to Neil Young's lyrical reflections about perceptions of living in a big city versus a smaller town. Her images do not represent Kentucky specifically, but speak to a place that could be anywhere.
