| Description Larry Rinder, MATRIX curator from 1989-1997, joins artist Nayland Blake, whose first museum solo exhibition occurred in the MATRIX series in 1989. He also exhibited in Rinder’s groundbreaking Berkeley Art Museum exhibition In a Different Light. Blake is a New York-based artist, curator, educator, and writer whose sculptural and installation work combine an interest in conceptual investigation, symbolic narratives, and material inventiveness. Rinder is currently Dean of California College of the Arts, San Francisco. |
