Description

The Hapgood will close its inaugural season with the West Coast Premiere of
Lovely Day, by award-winning New York playwright Leslie Ayvazian. Ms.
Ayvazian will be in attendance for opening night and the reception that
follows, and will give a talkback immediately following the performance on
Thursday, May 8th. Both events are free with the price of admission.

As Fran and Martin celebrate their wedding anniversary, they learn of a
military recruiter’s visit to their only son’s high school. Faced with the
prospect of his enlistment, they ﬁnd themselves on opposite sides of one of
the most pressing questions of our time.
