This restaurant in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District is one of the few that specializes in Burmese fusion cookery, a combination of Chinese, Indian and
other Asian cuisines.
The red curtains, miniature water fountains, overhead instrumental music and the beautiful garden give the restaurant an exotic atmosphere.
The cuisine mixes the Asian genres of food in many of its dishes. Appetizers include traditional Indian Samosas filled with curried potatoes, yellow split peas and onion served with a tomato garlic dipping sauce. Dinner entrees choices include the Kama curry or Kamikaze steak noodles, grilled jumbo Pagan Prawns or Buddha’s garden dish.
The service is terrific and the drinks at the full bar are enticing.
