Pacific Repertory Theatre is the only professional theatre in Carmel and Monterey County. Known as PacRep, the company has announced its 27th season of plays and musicals in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Housed in one of the oldest theatre's in the city, the Golden Bough Playhouse, productions pay homage to PacRep's long-standing mission to present bold and daring interpretations of the great plays of the world stage the literary classics of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Currently, upcoming productions in the Golden Bough Playhouse include "Hamlet", "La Honda" and "25th Annual Putnam County Spellling Bee".
