"Shared Moments" Photography Art Show Anastasia thinks about photography as a form of communication with a model, a viewer, with God, with love, with fear, with future and past, with dreams and memories. She takes photography as a way to be intimate with people (models or viewers). Anastasia tends to be more introverted in life and in work as well. And images are not a reaction to what is going on with the world at a present moment, rather how her personal world was affected. She thinks that feelings come before thoughts, that is one of the reasons why she prefers not to explain photographs. Anastasia says: "I don’t want to lead an imagination of a person to a particular direction and would rather let it wonder freely. I want my images to be emotionally charged and express the level of intimacy (or lack of it) my model and I had". |
