Description
The Work of Three Visual Artists Engages the Contemporary Relevance of Drawing

The exhibition “Sight & Sensibility” presents three visual artists working with the discipline of drawing. Sandy Walker, Laura Harden and Lon Clark engage the act of drawing in relation to facets of perception, process and the capacity for individual invention. The exhibition features work related to drawing in a variety of media and in differing scale, from small to very large. Traditional genres of art such as landscape and the figure are presented, linking a thoroughly contemporary vision to historical involvements of the visual artist. Different media are presented challenging conventional notions of drawing including works on paper, canvas and photographic prints.

Show runs from May 22, 2007 through September.
Gallery hours Wednesday –Friday: Noon to 5PM. Saturdays by appointment only.
