This huge warehouse space is filled with top of the line, name-brand items for running, cycling, camping, hiking, swimming, triathlon, snow sports, and general fitness, for lower prices than you'll find at most other stores. Sports Basement's focus is definitely on the outdoorsy style; that feeling of freedom and wind in your hair is easily carried throughout the store. With bike racks next to the registers, Jimmy Buffett on the radio, and cool bay breezes blowing through the enormous, concrete-floored space, it's easy to feel the need for a new camping pack, or a better pair of hiking boots, or some long underwear, or wick-a-way socks. You can almost smell the campfires burning.
