The Crowden Music Center houses The Crowden School and the Crowden Center for Music in the Community, and hosts the chamber music series "Sundays @ Four".

The Crowden School is a middle school for children in grades four through eight. We combine a rigorous academic curriculum with a distinguished chamber music program for students of strings, piano and composition.

Crowden Center for Music in the Community (CCMC) offers after school, weekend, and summer lessons and classes that meet the needs of a growing number of children and adults. An incomparable and vital community resource, CCMC greatly enriches the cultural life of the East Bay. Classes are held under the auspices of The Crowden Music Center, at our centrally-located campus in Berkeley, California. Tuition is moderate and some financial aid is available to qualified students.
