Mel learned hair styling in Hollywood, but moved to Carmel 27 years ago for the ocean and the art. A few gems from Mel's extensive art collection are on view in his salon.

Mel specializes in the fine art of hair color and in finding a style that is chic but carefree. You can find Mel's studio right next to Diggity Dog in the small alleyway on the West side of Mission street. Free parking.
