A MORNING WITH THE
GRAND CRUS OF DOMAINE LEFLAIVE
AND BRICE DE LA MORANDIERE
LA PLAYA CARMEL - PACIFIC ROOM | FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2016, 10:30 AM - 12 PM | $695
Founded in 1717, Domaine Leflaive has long been one of the most highly regarded white wine producers in Burgundy. During its long history, the Domaine has acquired parcels in four of the five Montrachet grand crus and four of the best premier crus. Distinguishing Domaine Leflaive beyond the impeccable pedigree of its vineyard sites and biodynamic practices, are the skill and care of its winemaking. The combination of these efforts has produced remarkable results, further elevating the standard for one of the world's greatest wines. Join 4th generation proprietor Brice de La Morandiere for an eye-opening vertical tasting of the Grand Crus of Domaine Leflaive.
Legendary Sommeliers and burgundy experts Larry Stone and Raj Parr help guide us through these magnificent wines. All GourmetFest wines in the rare tastings are acquired directly through the cellars of the Domaines or estates and Brice has kindly offered this tasting completely in Magnum format.
Featuring:
Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, 1996, 2000, 2009, Bâtard-Montrachet, 1996, 2000, 2009 Chevalier-Montrachet 1996, 2000 & 2009 all in Magnum format
