About Carmel International Film Festival's Pitch Panel

Pitch Panel

CIFF Partners with Hightail to Award Winning Project $5,000

The CIFF Pitch Panel provides filmmakers an opportunity to compete for a $5000 award sponsored by Hightail Spaces, make connections, and gain valuable insight into the pitch process. The forum is designed to provide up to 30 semi-finalists the chance to present to 3 sets of qualified executives, honing their skill with feedback from each presentation. Between 8-10 of the top scoring pitches will be selected to present to a panel of industry and investment executives, with the winner walking away with the $5000 Hightail Award. The semi-finalists are also invited to participate in a “How to Pitch” workshop with Sander/Moses Productions.

The program works — through connections established at last year’s pitch panel, one of our finalists found funding that helped her finish her film!
