Center for Community Advocacy Holds the 19th Annual "Dia de Los Muertos" Fundraiser Sunday, November 2nd

Center for Community Advocacy (CCA) will hold their 19th annual "Dia de Los Muertos" tardeada (afternoon party). The event will take place Sunday, November 2nd beginning at 4:30 pm at University Center at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) University Center. CCA will honor this year's recipient of CCA's Ben Heller Award for Leadership and Courage and also this year's recipient of the Volunteer Hero Award.

CCA will also present the Sam Karas Farmworker Leadership Award to farmworker leaders who have exhibited extraordinary courage while helping to improve the quality of life for farmworkers. This never fails to inspire us all, a mark of the success of CCA - as well as the farmworkers themselves.
