Concertmaster Peter Hanson

This year our Concert Master Peter Hanson has done a swap with our Choral maestro Andrew Megill. Pete gets the full string band on Monday and Andy gets the full wind band on Wednesday. That means that for the first time you will hear a luscious string band concert with the full strings of the CBF orchestra. The repertoire takes advantage of the rich sounds of "Bach and Bohemia" with the folk song influenced Bartok Divertimento, the softer sounds of the Dvorak Serenade and the challenging Bach 6 part Ricercare.
