Tarpy’s Roadhouse brings History to life!
Monterey, CA. Tarpy’s Roadhouse located in the historic Ryan Ranch Homestead on Hwy 68 at Canyon Del Rey, announces its History Dinner which will be held on Thursday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m.
For one night only, guests will learn the real truth about Matt Tarpy and Rancho Saucito where Tarpy’s Roadhouse now stands. Listen to Terrence Gargiulo, world renowned storyteller, talk about how Matt Tarpy went from well- respected rancher to vilified murderer. Along the way, you’ll hear about life in Monterey in the 1800’s complete with drama, murder and lynchings! There are two sides to every story!
Take a tour of the Ryan Ranch Homestead which now houses Tarpy’s Roadhouse. Spend the evening being regaled about the past, enjoying a tantalizing four-course meal from Chef Todd Fisher and sipping award-winning wines.
