Electro-Fi Records is proud to announce the debut release of Blues Supergroup GOLDEN STATE - LONE STAR BLUES REVUE, featuring Grammy-nominated Harp Blower/Vocalist/ Bandleader MARK HUMMEL with guitar legends ANSON FUNDERBURGH (Anson & The Rockets) & LITTLE CHARLIE BATY (Little Charlie and the Nightcats) plus drummer WES STARR and bassist RW GRIGSBY on APRIL 15, 2016. In the words of Baty, the all-star cross country melding of California musicians Hummel, Baty and Grigsby with Texans Funderburgh and Starr, "is all about 5 guys who have been playing music all their lives, but each night play with the excitement and energy of their first gig". GOLDEN STATE - LONE STAR BLUES REVUE's self-titled debut album, was recorded by Kid Andersen at the famed Greaseland Studio in San Jose, CA, and co-produced by Funderburgh & Hummel.

Mark Hummel's Golden State - Lone Star Revue is a concept of a cross country meeting of the minds between California and Texas musicians. All have known each other for years. The rhythm sections have played in bands since high school but all share a deep passion for REAL BLUES. Mark Hummel has been steadily on the road since 1984 and released 17 albums and CDs since starting out.
