September 2, 2014, the Hartnell College Foundation hosts its first Women's Economic and Leadership Forum featuring a panel discussion with Kathy Matsui, Chief Japan Equity Strategist for Goldman Sachs and Teresa Matsui Sanders, Chief Financial Officer for Matsui Nursery at Tahema Golf Club, 25000 Via Malpaso, Carmel, California from 4:30- 7 p.m. This special event is a fundraiser to permanently endow the Women's Education and Leadership (WELI) program at Hartnell College.
Women's Education Leadership initiative (WELI) is a model award winning program that combines a scholarship with leadership development and life skills training. WELI scholars receive leadership training and powerful mentorship with a successful community leader, making this a life changing experience.
