Porters in the Forest Announces Thanksgiving Menu

PEBBLE BEACH, CA -- Chef Johnny DeVivo at Porters in the Forest announced that the restaurant located at 3200 Lopez Road at Poppy Hill’s Golf Course in Pebble Beach will be open for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26th from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Chef DeVivo will offer a special menu created just for Thanksgiving. Menu items will include:

Roasted Turkey - 32
Milk Poached Breast, Fennel, Sausage Stuffing, Fall Vegetable Au-Gratin, Cranberry Compote

Garlic Studded Prime Rib - 45
House Whipped Mashed Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Bacon, Hazelnuts

Smoked Pork Loin - 33
Bacon Lardoons, Kabocha Squash, Charred Kale, Quince

Shrimp Masca (Louisiana Favorite) - 36
Jumbo Prawns Roasted in a Cast-iron Skillet with Garlic, White Wine, & Bay leaf served with White Cheddar Grits & Local Kale

Kale/Brussels Sprouts/Cranberry Compote/Garlic Mashed Potatoes/ Sausage Fennel Stuffing, Root Vegetable Au-gratin

Porter’s serves breakfast (6am -10:45.) lunch (11 a.m.-3 p.m.) and a special twilight menu (3-7 p.m.; 3-8 p.m. Fri.-Sat.). It’s housed in a large but intimate dining room accented by vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that capture a show-stopping, panoramic view of the tree-studded Poppy Hills Golf Course.
